Venue

The activities of CAA 2021 will be jointly hosted at the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the Carob Mill, located at the historic centre of the city of Limassol.

The Cyprus University of Technology, founded by law on December 2003 and welcoming its first students on September 2007, aspires to develop into a modern, pioneering University, offering education and state-of-the-art research in important fields of science and technology, while also having a high impact on local and regional economic development. Having an orientation towards applied research, the University aspires to establish for itself a role in support of the state and society in their efforts to confront problems covering all areas of science and technology. CUT programmes of study complement to a large extent scientific areas not currently covered at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels by other institutions of higher education in the country.

Most of the conference activities will take place at the Carob Mill and at the “Tassos Papadopoulos”, CUT’s central teaching and conference facilities. Furthermore, T. Papadopoulos building has two large amphitheaters (200 and 120 seats), two large teaching halls (95 seats each), and 4 smaller teaching halls (65 seats each), as well as ample space for receptions. The building is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, including teleconferencing facilities.

«Richard and Berengaria Ballrooms» is a unique indoor hall located next to the Carob Mill museum and between the Medieval Castle and the New Limassol Marina. In a space of 552 square meters the ballroom is part of a bigger area which may be used to suit smaller events or in parallel satisfying a wide range of demanding styles and settings. The combination of wood and stone propounds a mysterious atmosphere while the location, the high tech audio-visual equipment, the knowledge and the experience of the management team are the criteria for hosting the biggest corporate and social events (conferences, seminars, presentations, fashion shows, wedding receptions, christenings etc).
